Your experience:

Discover Fuerteventura from the Atlantic on board a jet ski and choose between two different experiences: explore the spectacular Lobos Island with stops for swimming and snorkelling, or enjoy a shorter route along the Corralejo coast, passing the dunes and enjoying views of Lobos Island.

Both excursions are led by a professional guide, require no boating licence or previous experience, and depart from Corralejo Harbour. You can book a jet ski for yourself or share one with another person.

The main difference is the type of adventure: Lobos Island is the longer and more complete option, while PowerSafari offers a shorter and more direct experience, perfect if you want to enjoy riding a jet ski without spending too much time on the activity.

Highlights of the excursion

  • Discover Lobos Island from the sea: the Lobos Island excursion lasts approximately 90 minutes and covers around 50 km around the island.
  • Two swimming and snorkelling stops: the Lobos Island experience includes two stops in the water and snorkelling equipment.
  • Admire the Corralejo dunes from the Atlantic: PowerSafari covers approximately 30 km along the coast over 40 minutes, with views of the dunes, small coves and Lobos Island.
  • Ride your own jet ski or share the experience: single options allow one person to ride their own jet ski, while double options are designed for two people sharing one jet ski.
  • Ride accompanied by an instructor: a professional guide accompanies the group throughout the route and gives a safety briefing before departure.

Lobos Island or PowerSafari: which jet ski excursion should you choose?

Although both excursions depart from Corralejo and offer the chance to ride a jet ski through the waters of Fuerteventura, the route and duration are different.

Lobos Island: the complete experience

The Lobos Island excursion is the best choice if you want a longer route combining jet-skiing with time for swimming and snorkelling.

During approximately 90 minutes, you will cover around 50 km and complete a full circuit around Lobos Island. The route allows you to admire some of the island's most characteristic landscapes from the sea, including Punta Martiño, Las Lagunitas, Playa de la Concha, the Lobos Strait and La Caldera Mountain.

The activity also includes two stops in the water, giving you the opportunity to cool off, swim and snorkel.

PowerSafari: a shorter adventure

PowerSafari is designed for those looking for a shorter and more dynamic jet ski experience.

The activity lasts approximately 40 minutes and covers around 30 km along the Corralejo coast. During the ride, you will enjoy views of Grandes Playas, the Corralejo dunes, small coves and the outline of Lobos Island.

It is an especially good option if you are trying a jet ski for the first time or simply prefer an activity that takes up less of your day.

In short: choose Lobos Island if you are looking for a longer excursion, want to go around the island and enjoy snorkelling stops. Choose PowerSafari if you prefer a shorter route along the Corralejo coast and want to focus mainly on riding the jet ski.

Experience description

Lobos Island

The adventure begins at Corralejo Harbour. Before heading out onto the water, you will receive the necessary instructions on how to operate the jet ski, followed by a safety briefing.

You will then set off towards Lobos Island. Accompanied by the instructor at all times, you will cross the waters separating Fuerteventura from the island and enjoy its volcanic landscape from a completely different perspective.

The route continues around Lobos Island, passing various points of interest and coastal areas. Two stops in the water are made during the excursion, giving you the perfect opportunity to cool off, swim and use the included snorkelling equipment.

In the Lobos Strait, you can also enjoy the marine surroundings and, with a little luck, spot marine wildlife. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.

Once the route has been completed, the group begins the journey back to Corralejo.

PowerSafari

PowerSafari also starts at Corralejo Harbour with a safety briefing and preparation before heading out to sea.

Once on the jet ski, you will follow a route of approximately 40 minutes along the coast. The route offers views of the Corralejo dunes from the ocean, as well as views of Lobos Island along the way.

The experience is designed primarily around the enjoyment of riding the jet ski, with a dynamic route and plenty of time to experience the thrill of travelling across the waters of Fuerteventura.

After completing the route, you will return with the group to Corralejo Harbour.
